Savor the classic goodness of Crispy Battered Highline Mini Bella Mushrooms. Crunchy perfection in every bite, a timeless favorite!

Ingredients:

16 oz Highline® Mini Bella Mushrooms, quartered
6 cups canola oil
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 cup soda water
½ cup milk
1 tbsp vinegar
1 egg
½ tbsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
Pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large pan heat oil on high heat.
  2. In a medium bowl mix flour and spices. Toss the mushrooms in ÂĽ of the flour mix.
  3. In another bowl combine milk and vinegar, eggs, and mix. Add in the remaining flour mixture and mix well to create batter.
  4. In a third bowl pour the breadcrumbs into a bowl.
  5. Dredge mushrooms in the batter using a slotted spoon and then dredge in the breadcrumbs. Repeat this process with every mushroom,
  6. Add mushrooms to the oil to try. Work in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for 5 minutes until the mushrooms are golden brown. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy.
